We are rounding up the year again very fast, and arriving in just a few weeks is the beautiful holiday season, and if you haven’t made up your mind yet for the perfect gift to ask for, and you really need a smartphone change, OnePlus has a new version of its latest flagship with just the perfect specs to make it our choice. And it was about time, since the first two phones from OnePlus were only available by invite, which made them a little bit exclusive, but since they gave us the OnePlus 3, they have been able to maintain a stock and create themselves quite a fame, and now they made it even better with the OnePlus 3T.
OnePlus has made for themselves an aggressive and bold approach over the last months, with a “Never Settle” statement, and the intend to stay true to that with this new device, making the user experience, a unique experience every time they use this terminal, the OnePlus 3T comes with a small price bump, but it doesn’t come unrewarded, since it has an upgraded hardware in its battery, processor, display and camera, standing and putting itself along the lines with the Google Pixel, and some of Samsung’s flagships.
Even more power this time around
The new OnePlus 3T comes with an innovative technology with the name of Dash Charge allowing it to fulfill its 3.440mAh battery in only 30 minutes, surpassing the Samsung S7 Edge and even, Google’s Pixel XL. Not only it’s about the speed in which it can be fully recharged, but it is also a noticeable thing the high capacity of the battery, making it bigger than the usual phones we are so familiar with, which tend to come with a 2000mAh or 2600mAh. You might think it’s a wonderful thing to carry this amount of battery life, but it was designed to power the OnePlus 3T’s CPU, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon ™ 821, running at 2.35GHz same processor we saw in the Pixel, giving the user juice to run any app or game so far.
Big screen, Big Res, Beefy camera
All of this about the OnePlus 3T is really awesome, but a feature really shining is the jump from an 8MP frontal camera, to a 16MP one, giving the selfies, and video chats a really high quality, thus making it pair up with the 16MP back camera. But not only the front camera is a great advance, since the mentioned back camera has an f/2.0 aperture recording up to 4k resolution (3840 × 2160) videos, at 30 fps.
As we speak about the camera, it is a must have to speak about the screen coming in this device, which maintains itself being a 1920 x 1080p screen with OLED technology, sadly we won’t be seeing a 4k screen in this device, thus making it an average 5,5 inches’ screen in modern times. This could have been different if had OnePlus sacrificed a little on the battery power up and be able to handle a 4k display; maybe in the next flagship by OnePlus we will see this feature, but there is no certainty of it.
Memory to spare in a mobile device
This Device is carrying along 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM providing the user with the capabilities of seizing the Multitasking like it was no big of a deal, making a smooth switch between Heavy and exhaustive gaming, to capturing a 4k video. Nonetheless the OnePlus 3T is having a variant in its internal storage, being available a 64 GB version and a 128 GB one, both having UFS 2.0 Capabilities boosting the data management and making it three times faster than the average phone around. All of this memory, and powerful CPU boots up to OnePlus’ own flavor of the Android Experience, Oxygen OS, which is a close equivalent to Android Nougat.
This device has a virtual price tag with the number 479$ written on it for the 128GB version, and 439$ for the 64GB Version, and you may ask why did we say virtual, and this is about the fact that it can only be purchaser via online with the standard Free shipping offered by OnePlus
